[ARCHIVED] Fishers’ Nickel Plate District Amphitheater announces free, socially distant concert series

The Fishers Pop-Up Concert Series, brought to you by Fishers Parks, is coming to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (NPD AMP). Presented by IU Health Saxony, these free shows will offer something for everyone in a first come, first served limited-capacity outdoor setting with social distancing measures in place due to COVID-19 recommendations.

Toy Factory: 2 Shows, 1 Night!

Toy Factory is a high-energy, non-stop party! Come enjoy their full-throttle spins on popular songs you know and love. Toy Factory is a local favorite, they always bring the beat and won’t stop until you move your feet! 

Huckleberry Funk: 2 Shows, 1 Night!

Huckleberry Funk is a dynamic Funk, R&B and Soul band based in Bloomington. Their recently sold-out live show at the HI-FI and several others has earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting and entertaining live performances in the Midwest. At the heart of a Huckleberry Funk show, the audience can expect powerhouse vocals, extraordinary guitar solos, a touch of east coast horns, and rock-solid grooves. 

8th Annual Fishers Blues Fest 

Friday and Saturday, September 4 - 5 from 7 – 11 p.m.

End the summer with Fishers Blues Fest, a Fishers Labor Day tradition! The free, two-night event includes performances by renowned local and nationally award-winning blues artists. Artist lineup will be announced soon at npdamp.com.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions:

In accordance with Governor Holcomb’s executive order, the NPD AMP is working alongside the Fishers Health Department to complete a COVID-19 Event Plan to ensure patron and event organizer safety. Currently, the NPD AMP will require the following safety guidelines:

  • Capacity will be limited
  • Face masks strongly recommended
  • Patrons will be required to sit within the pre-determined socially distant seating arrangements
  • Hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations will be available throughout the venue 
  • Vendor lines will require 6-foot spacing between each guest

Admission & Additional Info:

Admission is free (first come, first served, limited-capacity with social distancing measures in place due to COVID-19 recommendations). No pets or outside food or beverage allowed, however sealed water bottles are permitted. Vendors will be available on site to purchase food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Chairs and blankets are welcome, and seating will be available on site. All bags are subject to security search. Patrons are encouraged to leave bags at home or use a clear bag to assist with ingress.
